Luxury car drags man to death

KOCHI: In shocking incident, a two-wheeler rider was killed after a rashly driven luxury car hit him at Puthenkavu near Udayamperoor on Wednesday. The brand new Audi car came to a halt after dragging the deceased, Sanal Kumar (35), for around 50 metres.
Though Sanal was immediately rushed to a hospital, he succumbed to injuries.
According to police, both vehicles caught fire in the impact of the collision.A case has been registered against the person who was driving the luxury car. Sanal was working as driver with a school for children with special needs near Tripunithura. He is survived by wife Anitha (30) and daughter Gayathri (5). The police said that the driver of the luxury car later surrendered at Traffic police station, Tripunithura.
